Eugenia Borkowski and Elizabeth Rabb

Eugenia Borkowski was born to hippy/musician parents in New Brunswick, NJ. Her parents dragged her to potlucks, Native American sweat lodges, beat poetry readings and political protests all throughout her childhood. She traveled all over the country with her gypsy mother and sisters, living in religious communes, ashrams and five star hotels; the Grateful Dead mansion and Tai-Chi communities. She is currently living in Bushwick, NY with her sister, her turtle, two cats and her taxidermy collection. Born and raised in the Colorado Rockies, Elizabeth Rabb is a portrait photographer currently living in Bushwick, NY. Rabb get her first camera while hitchhiking her way through California, picking apples for extra cash and sleeping under bridges. During her travels, Rabb befriended a one legged street vendor named Viktor, who took her under his wing, giving her a job and a roof over her head. When she took her leave a few weeks later, Viktor gave her a vintage point and shoot camera and a bag of cherries. Thus, Liz’s life as a photographer began. She received her BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA in 2008. The rest as they say, is history. You can view her photography at www.elizabethrabb.com
