Spat Turns Into Massacre at the Projects
An argument this morning at the Borinquen Plaza projects at 330 Bushwick Avenue ended with a man shooting dead his longtime girlfriend and mother of his child. He then shot the woman’s 78-year-old father, hitting him in the shoulder. The father then blasted one back at the killer, killing him. Perversely, the old man who defended himself against a maniac might face charges if it’s determined his gun wasn’t registered.

Unbelievable! Sort of makes you wonder how many other families have have members who are just at the brink of doing something like this. No excuse for this. And, a senior who’s probably just trying to survive a few more years and maybe have a little fun before dying now has to go through a system that is merciless to gun play. My heartfelt prayers go out to this family this season.
