Williamsbushbick. A new guidebook for the less mainstream businesses in NYC seems to place LES, Nolita and Chelsea in Brooklyn. Does it have to be in Brooklyn to qualify as less mainstream or is this just really confusing graphic design?

Nunchucks?  Really? There was mention of this in the forum already, but I need to put it out there.  What  friend of this Village Voice writer needs or would ever use nunchucks anywhere in this city as self-defense, but especially off the Dekalb stop?  Thanks for giving the Bushwick Starr much deserved props, but stop trying to make it sound cooler than it already is by saying “nunchucks.” It does not need your fake street cred.  Thank you.
