Historic Bushwick Brewer’s Mansion

If you’ve got the dough, here’s your chance to own a unique late Victorian limestone and brick home. This old Bushwick brewer’s mansion sprawls out nearly 5000 sqft, in the center of a huge lot. The house enjoys exposures on all sides allowing most rooms to have two sets of windows. The first floor is a huge, 5-bedroom duplex, and the top floor is a 3-bedroom rental unit with a 1200sqft terrace. The clean, high ceilinged basement, although unfinished, could quickly be converted to two more rental units or studio space for artists. A curb cut in the yard is already in place for those who want to have a garage in the basement.

Other uses might include hotel/bed and breakfast, or an awesome single family home.

Floor plan.

Asking $1,150,000

I wonder if the mechanicals are up to date in this home. It’s a lot of house, and unusual to have in Bushwick. Reminds me of the homes in Ditmas Park.

Actually it’s not unusual for Bushwick — Avenue. There are a lot of great houses down there.

i believe it’s been totally renovated, i recall seeing it on another RE site.
