More Lumbini Garden Problems?

A tipster sent me the Zillow listing for Lumbini Garden, the dumpily named but nice-looking new condominium at 326 Melrose Street. As many of you may recall, this property was the subject of a hilarious and rather sad controversy a couple of months ago. In short: we posted about the condo, and the agent, one Janet Corona, went ballistic because apparently she was under the impression that this website was a real estate agency (that’s assuming she is saner than her totally bonkers comments let on.) It devolved into Janet defending her poorly spelled and reasoned attacks with other poorly spelled and reasoned pseudonymous comments, all using the same IP and same misspellings.
People were shocked then that anyone would choose this woman to represent their development. You might be shocked to know that it seems they still do. Janet Corona has suffered no consequences from acting like a complete ass and attacking prospective clients. Her agency, Prudential Douglas Elliman, still shows Janet Corona on the agent roster (although with the same two listings she had two months ago). Of course a search for her name brings very bad things up as some of the first results, so maybe that has deterred potential clients, but there’s no way to tell.
Anyway, why bring this up now? Because with this condo, we’re back to where we began. Zillow, a very popular real estate site, lists the condo with “Address Undisclosed” — just as the original Trulia listing did. And like that original Trulia listing, it directs us to the “listing website” — which is once again devoid of any information. These people need to get their act together. The developer needs to come up with a marketing plan that does not include the agent telling potential clients they are in a “hep of poop.” And information needs to be easier to find, if they ever plan on selling this hideously named development.
