Bushwick Clicks: Fall Harvest, Hellos and Goobyes

Under the JMZ, by ultraclay!
The Great Good Riddance: NY Mag online photo editor, former Gawker intern, and Bushwick resident Everett Bogue realized he’s been struggling to live in a city he hates. He likes tall trees, not tall buildings, and once heard Sarah Palin likes to tear the jugulars of baby polar bears with her teeth.
Bucolic Bushwick: It’s getting cool, and this late-season gardener is starting to pick and eat her rooftop “experiments” as they ripen. I’m pretty impressed with those orange peppers.
More Produce!: Local vegan (I’m guessing) shares with us the simple pleasures of eating the tomatoes grown by Trees Not Trash volunteers.
The Hood’s Still Here, You Know: Kind of funny that a 50th reunion for Bushwick High is happening in a random town in Long Island. But then, I guess we shouldn’t expect people pushing 70 to have an event at the New York Loft Hostel, which, aside from the 1000+ quinceañera halls, just about sums up Bushwick’s hospitality industry.
