Bushwick Apartment Roundup 3/19/08

#1 — $1000 — 1br: LOVE this! If you’re handy, you can rent this dump on pretty Bushwick Avenue for a song — and the more work you do, the cheaper it gets! Fourth floor, “views from all windows,” “do what you want.” Can’t beat that.
PETS OK Bushwick and Greene Kosciuszko J
#2 — $1100 — 2br rr: Pretty good location, basic, standard, cheap. Can’t go wrong.
DeKalb and Wilson DeKalb L/Knickerbocker M
#3 — $1400 — 2br (rr?): Probably a railroad, and not particularly attractive, but for those of you looking for prime hipster Bushwick, this is pretty much it.
Willoughby and Wyckoff Jefferson L
#4 — $1600 — loft: A little pricey I guess, but a good loft for a couple or an artist right at the JMZ hub. And Ditmars is a kooky little street in the shadow of the tracks.
PETS OK Ditmars and Broadway Myrtle JMZ
#5 — $1500 — 3br: If this had more pics, it would probably make the list anyhow because the price is decent. But as advertisers, they bought a spot. The floors do look nice and I am assured it’s been renovated.
Schaefer and Bushwick Wilson L
Bushwick wannabe: Vernon and Stuyvesant are both completely in Bedford-Stuyvesant. This is basically on Broadway, so it would be fine if Bed-Stuy was at least mentioned. This…is just not any kind of East Williams-nothin’.

that’s weird, because the corner of vernon and stuy is a really beautiful little part of town, certainly the nicest within sight of the train right around there. i love that red brick building with the little fenced-in yard running around it. to try to disguise that with visions of the EW industrial park, travesty!
