Bushwick Apartment Roundup 3/13/08

Dear apartment hunters: when you call on apartments you see here, please mention you saw it on BushwickBK.com!
#1 — $1600-1800 — 3 and 4 br: When we were looking for a place, Weirfield was one of those streets in South Bushwick we were aiming for: tree-lined, close to the train, and most importantly, completely intact. Eve Levine of Corcoran is offering two beautiful apartments in a tastefully renovated house on the most convenient block of this street — just steps to the J at Halsey. French doors and original moldings share space with stainless steel appliances. They even seem to have pulled off the glass block. More amenities include wood-burning fireplaces, parking, basement storage, and a shared back garden. 28 Weirfield is where you can set up a home.
PETS OK 3br | 4br Weirfield and Broadway Halsey J
#2 — $1480 — 2br: This agent gets all the good stuff. Beautiful, bright place on a great block near what’s about to be a great retail/restaurant strip. Great old-style parquet floors.
CATS OK Starr and St. Nicholas Jefferson L
#3 — $1390 — 2br: Cute place with wood floors, nice light, and new kitchen and bath. Love the nostalgic checkerboard floor in the kitchen.
PETS OK DeKalb and Wyckoff DeKalb L
#4 — $1350 — 1br: Huge apartment in a great location, lots of windows, wood floors, exposed brick, and Manhattan views.
CATS OK Jefferson Street and Wilson Morgan L
#5 — $1600 — 2br: A bit pricey, so I’d make an offer, but great location right by Bushwick’s Thai restaurant. A pretty simple white box with wood floors and some original details.
