Bushwick House Fire on Film
The cameraman at one point shows his face and says, “scary!” I think it’s rather “embarrassing!” Funny how he stands there and is like, oh look the house is burning down, that totally sucks. Everything turned out okay in the end, just a bit of damage and some aggravated neighbors.

You think this is funny? Probably because it wasn’t your apartment.
So will you be hiring these guys to weld bars on your windows??

Uh, no, and I don’t see how this post even remotely suggests that I would. Get a grip, you sour ass.

We feel for you guys. We were walking home and saw the scene. I have to give the Bushwick FD a lot of credit, they are very quick to respond. They have already visited our house. Crappy welcome to the neighborhood though.

finally saw this, so crazy that the fire was inside the wall like that.
i will remember in the future: welder welding without any eye protection, probably a bad sign.
on the plus side, who knew the red cross would show up so fast?

I found this because I was watching a fire on the south side of Broadway in Bushwick and was looking for information. It looked HUGE. I’m glad I found this though, its good to know what all is involved when something like this happens. I was really worried about the people who must be displaced… good to see the Red Cross around here is so quick.
