Bushwick Apartment Roundup 12/13/07

#1 — $1899 — 2br: Weird price, but nice digs. Right on Knickerbocker, the 2nd bedroom has a glass wall, I assume to let light into the living room. They made an otherwise ghetto set-up into something pretty cool. Brick up the wazoo, nice kitchen, arched windows, this place is very cool.
Knickerbocker and Hart Jefferson L

#2 — $1300 — 1br: Pretty sweet renovation, lots of period stuff, though the exposed brick looks odd with the moldings…still cool. It’s a bit pricey but not crazy — I think it’s worth the dough.
Broadway and Lawton Kosciuszko J

#3 — $1200 — 2br (rr?): Probably a railroad because of the “good for a couple” mention. “Like a cottage,” garden view, French doors, wood floors, and possibly in or at least right near the Stockholm Street Historic District.
CATS OK Onderdonk and Stockholm DeKalb L

#4 — $1200 — 2br: “True” two-bedroom, and you get one month free which makes it more like $1100. At the end of the world down there but it’s cheap.
PETS OK Schaefer “near the L” Wilson L

#5 — $1000 — studio: It’s a good price, but I’m cautious on this place — no idea what the building looks like (not that that’s a huge deal anyhow) and the photo is grainy as hell. Quick access to the city.
Hart and Broadway Myrtle JMZ

from the wtf file: Are one-bedroom apartments by Montrose really $1800? Jesus.

Bushwick wannabe: We’re giving Bed-Stuy a break this week: Solidly East Williamsburg, but listed as Bushwick. The label war is over, and Bushwick has won.
