Good Riddance, Shitbag Bodega #1
A few neighbors have noticed that they have been hauling trash and other junk from the bodega at the corner of Central and Melrose for the past couple weeks. A source confirms that they have been evicted for allegedly selling drugs. I’m going to go with that, because I don’t see how they could really be making any money there selling groceries — who would buy food from this crumbling, squalid, stank dump? The building itself, mostly boarded up, is almost imperceptibly leaning toward the street, and I can’t imagine it will be saved.
Good riddance, shitbag bodega. You won’t be the first to go.

Good riddance indeed . I once went inside to buy cigarettes . The animal behind the counter looked at me like i had 4 head’s . All the fridges had bullet holes in em .

It’s really bad, I can’t imagine it will survive. People are living in it, I think, so it must be somewhat structurally sound. Who knows?

I hate that place. I walk by it every morning on the way to the J train. It stinks. Can’t wait to see it gone.

I am so glad to see it go! I went in one day for ciggs as well, and was pretty creeped out by the people there.

I’ve lived on melrose for a few decades. Man, that place sells hot soda with cat piss on it. electricgreek your comment was amazing cause I’ve know that animal and it’s spawnings, you think the store is bad. What if you life sucked as well.
