Bushwick Apartment Roundup 8/16/07

Agents and owners: if you want to feature your apartments in the roundup, it’s free! But please send me an attractive, high-resolution photo, or several photos.
#1 — $1150 — 2 bedroom RR: Railroad but cheap and looks renovated — nice floors, great old fireplaces, brick walls. Right on the J, light from both ends. Jefferson AVENUE and Broadway
#2 — $2400 — 3 bedroom: I think this is the whole house. That’s pretty cool. There’s a basement and a yard, and a washer/dryer, 1.5 baths, and all utiltiies are included. Says it’s on Harman Street, and from the looks of the house, between Broadway and Wilson.
#3 — $1250 — 1 bedroom: Looks like a nice place from the single picture, exposed brick, good location between L stops. Jefferson and Wilson
#4 — $1200 — 2 bedroom RR: Good, basic apartment in North Bushwick. “Three blocks from DeKalb L”
#5 — $1400 — 2 bedroom: Is that greenery I spy out of the windows there? That’s a plus. Decent location close enough to all the trains and everything else in North Bushwick. Willoughby and Central
Dear glamorous Aaron: $2390 for 3 bedrooms located practically IN the projects is in no way “cheap.”

$2390 sounds fine … what? oh, sorry, i was lost in Aaron’s eyes there for a moment.
#2 says duplex but it’s a 3-story house, so i think it’s just the bottom two floors (based on photos). i was gonna say it’s not such a great deal (i paid less for a duplex in clinton hill but i was also in it for nearly 6 years) but including all the utilities is a nice touch. it says if the tenants want the washer/dryer the rent goes up to $2500, which kind of sucks, $100 extra a month for laundry?

A sink?! Such ammenities these days. Lap of luxury and all that!

maybe $2390 is not only for the apt.
#2 - Jimmy - sounds like you had a great landlord, if he/she didn’t keep raising your rent in prestigious clinton hills as they are became oh so desirable, with great amenities, and all those quality of life issues.
these places look huge, i wonder if there is trick photography going on here.
