The L train will be out of service from 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday between Broadway Junction and 8th Avenue, Sept. 10-11 and 17-18. To compensate, MTA is running the M train on its weekday schedule to 57th Street, with no service between 12-8am Sunday morning. For service to Williamsburg, a shuttle will run in three parts from Broadway Junction to Myrtle-Wyckoff, from Myrtle-Wyckoff to Lorimer Street, and from Lorimer to the Marcy J/M.
The MTA is also placing the final leg of the Communication Based Train Control (CTBC) system from 8th Avenue to 3rd Avenue. CTBC is an automated control system which coordinates signals throughout the subways, ensuring safe operation.

The L train is down this weekend (Oct 8&9), but no announcement on BushwickBK. What’s with the site? – you folks used to post timely updates. The real estate section hasn’t been updated since July, and the forum has been abandoned but left up for spammers. Sad.
