Zuzuka continues implementing her master plan to overrun the world’s headphones with interracial music babies with this new single, “Dona Sandra”. She layers her Lusophone stylings over a deep Latin beat by Irish digital cumbia producer Orquesta. It’s got the mood of a warm overcast morning that’s less gloomy than it is tranquil. And the accompanying video of tropical birds adds to the visions of a lush, wet rainforest landscape. The release features a number of remixes from artists that have been featured in these pages, such as Sonora, who produced Zuzuka’s last EP, Staten Island’s Reaganomics, and Thornato from Cumba Mela.
