Some good stuff in the hood this week, though none of it is particularly cheap, $1350-$1959. Don’t forget to check out more on the Bushwick Classifieds.

$1350 — 2br: I rarely list places without a location (another ad for the same apt says it’s on Bushwick Avenue), but this place is too good to pass up no matter where in the hood it is. Charming old qualities like original wood floors and moldings, bay windows, and a new kitchen with subway tile – clean and happy and classic-looking. If you’re sick of hideous tastelessly modern gut-renos, check this place out.
Bushwick Avenue

$1500 — 2br: This is a bit expensive for the area, but it’s so well-renovated it may just be worth it. Everything is new but not tacky – wood floors, granite counters, exposed brick, all that. Not close to much but the train is a two-minute walk.

$1959 — 3br: This is a very nice, bright apartment in a very convenient spot near absolutely everything great in Bushwick, and down the block from newly opened CafĂ© Ghia. It’s full of original wood details, the rooms fit queen beds, and there’s a washer/dryer. And the owners live in the building — great for maintenance issues. Open house Sat & Sun.
Jefferson St. and Knickerbocker | Jefferson L

$1500 — 2br: Kinda blah, and there are no photos of the kitchen or bath, but it seems decent and is in a convenient location near everything. Wood floors, lots of windows, great price for the area.
Jefferson St. and Irving? | Jefferson L

$1500 — 2br rr: Quite expensive for a railroad in this location — it should be extremely large and well-kept. The area is leafy and generally owner-occupied, though not much is going on and it’s kind of away from transportation. Recently renovated Irving Square Park is close for your doggies. Inside, the floors are disappointing laminate but the place is otherwise clean and nice — nothing your good taste can’t tame.
