Two men are in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night inside an Ocean Hill apartment.
According to police that spoke with NY1, the shooter shot through a door at the 848 Macon St. apartment striking a 47-year-old man in the arm and a 41-year-old man in the stomach. Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital and are listed in critical condition.
A neighbor who lives a few houses down told BushwickBK an elderly couple and family live in the building.
"Police blocked off the street for a few hours but I didn’t see them arrest anyone. I was upstairs in my house when I heard the police swarm the block," said the neighbor.

yikes. so were they shot through the exterior door of the house, or from behind a door inside? in other words, was the shooter in the house or out on the stoop?

“read the article” -how rude are you? it was a valid question: was this through the front door to the building/an internal front door to an apartment/ or within an apartment? I’m assuming it was an internal door within an apartment but it’s definitely not clear and could be meaningful

Use your peephole… Or say “who is there?” when somebody come knocking. This was probably not a random event and still not specified, probably was a hallway apartment door. It is so easy to get into an apartment building… Just be careful people.
