And we’re back in a new year, and sourcing exclusively from the Greater Bushwick Classifieds! Lots of good stuff there, if you sift through, and that’s what we did for you today. $1300-$1750 for a range of product and locations, and I threw in a beautiful roommate situation.

$1399 — 2br rr: The listing says, in an honest way, that it’s a one-bedroom, but this is what would be considered a two-bedroom railroad – one real bedroom and a walk-through room for an office or something. Nice new kitchen, some original woodwork, and an interesting textured ceiling. Great location near the corner of Maria Hernandez Park, tons of shopping and food and close to everything else in the best part of Bushwick.

$1400 — 2.5 br: The "point five" is probably one of those little rooms next to the front bedroom that many of these old houses have above the entry hall — a great private office space. Unfortunately the agent neglected to add the cross street, but by the architecture and the listed subway stations, I’d say this is somewhere between Evergreen and Wilson. Either way, it’s close to lovely and recently renovated Irving Square Park and some good soul food.

$1300 — 2br: Decent price for a full two bedroom, good old details inside including original parquet floors and moldings. Not much to say about the location. There it is. Not really near anything but not too far from anything.
Cornelia and Evergreen | Gates JZ

$1450 — 1br/$1700 — 2br: A bit higher up the price scale are these apartments, with balconies and laundry and everything else slick and brand-new and maybe a bit bland. Nothing your good taste couldn’t perk up. Good views and excellent light, right near all the new stuff opening on Broadway, including what is billed as an organic food store opening in the building, though there are several others already around.
Dodworth and Broadway | Kosciuszko J

$1000 — room in loft: This is actually a roommate situation, but the place is so lovely I couldn’t pass it up. A flawlessly appointed loft right at the Morgan L stop, a short walk from all the area’s bars, restaurants, and shops, with more to come. Perfect wood floors and amazing windows and city views.
