Photo by Ruth SwansonFans of Darker My Love, take heed: frontman Tim Presley has a new solo project. White Fence will release its debut full length early next year on local label Woodsist.
Those familiar with Woodsist bands should imagine White Fence as Darker My Love tweaked to match the rest of the catalogue. It’s the same jangly psych pop you love, but with lower production qualities to fuzz everything up. All of the reverb emphasizes any lazy quality in Presley’s voice; combine this with some vintage keys, and this is the most authentic sounding faux ’60s record we’ve heard yet.
White Fence’s …Is Growing Faith is out on Woodsist January 10.
