Caffeine addicts living around the Morgan stop can rest easy – if they weren’t so hopped up on double espressos.
Swallow, a new café replacing the abruptly shuttered Archive has moved into its new digs at 49 Bogart Street in Morgantown Thursday morning with a soft opening. The interior is rustic, with rough-hewn wooden communal tables and antique chairs.
Speculation swirled over who would take over the prime storefront after Archive’s owners cashed out on Sept. 3, giving its employees a few hours notice.
Free coffee and cookies are avalable until the official opening on Saturday. Swallow will also soon carry pastries and sandwiches.

SWALLOW?!?! Really? Seriously! This isn’t some sort of onion-esque sort of joke? Well, ok, I guess…

It has a great cup of french press coffee. Music is excellent, furniture is classy – beats Orwell in every way. And it just opened.
