Casiotone for the Painfully Alone is playing his final NYC show tomorrow at the Ridgewood Masonic Temple. After almost 13 years with the project, Owen Ashworth is winding down the Casiotone project, with the intention taking a new direction in music. Which means if you have any love for his late ’80s synth melodies, his intense dance beats, or that his lovely, soothing baritone, don’t waffle about going to this show. The only other two dates Casiotone has scheduled in the US are in Rochester and Pittsburgh.

If you need any further insentive, kindred spirit Dan Deacon will be joining Ashworh on the bill, along with the titans of proggy metal noise, Lightning Bolt. Deacon always does his best to to involve the audience in choreographed dances and games, and Lightning Bolt’s set could very well devolve into a giant circle pit.

The Ridgewood Masonic Temple is located at 1054 Buswick Ave at Gates Avenue. The show is all ages. The doors are at 8pm tickets are $15. Visit Todd P’s website for more information.
