All nice, cheap stuff for singles and couples this week, though we included a large two-bedroom that clearly works for a family. Also remember to check the Bushwick Classifieds if you’re looking for other kinds of places or maybe a personal trainer.

$1095 — 1br: An extremely clean and well-done apartment on a quiet side street close to Ridgewood shopping and the Myrtle-Wyckoff hub. A great taco truck parks nearby and there’s a Colombian bakery, too.

$1000 — studio: Not much to see in the photos, but it’s clean and new with great wood floors and a fantastic location walking distance to much of Bushwick’s great food and drink. Cooking gas is included and there’s a back yard but it’s probably shared.

$1450 — 2br: Look past the familial clutter depicted in the photos and there’s quite an attractive apartment to be had here, with pleasantly painted walls (if you get to it before they’re painted over), a well-equipped kitchen with lots of cabinets, good windows with natural light, and some exposed brick to boot. The live-in super is also a nice plus and you’ll be only a short walk to the subway and plenty of other stuff.

$1100 — 1br: It’s always striking to see one of these attractive and spacious apartments in Bushwick, the land of the Home-Depot gut-renovation. There is a set of apartment houses on historic Bushwick Avenue that maintain all their original woodwork, moldings, windows, floors, and more — and this is one. The location is not much but it’s close to Broadway conveniences and the train and you’ll be a bike ride of mere minutes to the primer areas of town.

$1000 — 1br: Maybe a bit overdone on the modern front — why do they use those wacky chandeliers?? — but clean and nice, and though far down the road in Bushwick, it’s very close to one train line and close enough to the other. Broadway conveniences and walks through the cemetery — all this for a low low price.
