Mainstream-indie dream queen, Zooey Deschanel was on location in the Morgan-stop area filming My Idiot Brother with Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones. The actress has a penchant for “adorable” movies, and has starred in such films as (500) Days of Summer with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as well as the very popular Almost Famous with Kate Hudson (2000). However, she has more recently been known for her band She & Him.
Trailers were parked on Harrison Street at Bogart, and pylons can be seen throughout the environs. Deschanel was spotted on Bogart; they were filming at The Archive, as well as in and around the lofts on Harrison. Alex Starke, the Assistant Location Manager, told us they chose this particular café because of its proximity to the studio they wanted to use. The one in question belongs to Kate Shephard, a local artist.
Equipment and crew for My Idiot Brother were also spotted outside Tina’s diner, and down Flushing Avenue between Bogart and Wilson, last week.

shit! I could’ve gotten a hat wobble
Zooey shmooey. Was Paul Rudd in the house?! Man crush.
HA! I walked by and asked what they were shooting and they told me a commercial. But with how little I know I was probably asking Paul Rudd himself.
