The MTA announced service suspension on the L subway line for this week and next week, May 24-28 and June 1-4. No trains will be running between 11:30pm and 5am starting tonight between Lorimer and Myrtle-Wyckoff stops; free shuttles replace the trains on street level at each station. Full service will resume Fridays at 5am.

There will also be L maintenance on weekdays from 11am to 3pm, however passengers will only have to switch trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff. This change begins immediately and ends June 25.

MTA is updating its Communication Based Train Control (CTBC) testing and equipment installation along the L line. CTBC is an automated control system which coordinates signals throughout the subways, ensuring safe operation.
