The New York Post reports that 24-year-old Andeshia Grant got into a war of words with a taxi driver over her cab fare on Wednesday. Grant eventually paid for the ride but snatched the cabbie’s cellular phone to settle the score. She ran inside her building on Bushwick Avenue and Moffat Street with the driver in hot pursuit. The Post reports that a doorman prevented the cabbie from following Grant inside her building — but there are no doorman buildings in the area. It is still unclear who actually prevented the driver from catching Grant. Without a phone, the taxi driver had to use a payphone to call police, who arrested Grant and charged her with grand larceny.
