Jonny Leather is one of those people behind the scenes in NYC  music that should be quietly applauded. Running a great blog, booking bands across the city, and constantly promoting bands he believes in, especially when those bands are getting overlooked everywhere else.

The show starts at 8 pm and is a mere 8 bucks for cover. I’m particularly excited to see Medications, a DC band representing the seemingly disappearing Dischord Records. They combine coo-ing vocals and jittery guitar lines with a versatile rhythm section that hearkens back to Dischord bands of yore.
