This month we’re straying away from conventional photography and honoring more conceptual work. Above, is Ginger McGraw’s untitled shot of a weed-infested sidewalk duplicated, mirrored and composed in a way that makes everyday Bushwick filth look … beautiful?

The lighting is particularly nice on the garage door gate and the plastic bags caught in razor wire. Also, the rusty, red-orange fence and the dark green plant life compliment each other well. But, most intriguing, is the shadow near the bottom that forms an arrow, commanding us all to follow the path through the dense Bushwick industrial forest.
