Hello readers,

Some changes are afoot over here at BushwickBK that we’re excited to share with you. We’re working on integrating a music blog into the Music Features page of the site. It’ll be updated more regularly with shorter posts, videos, mp3s, and other blurbs about things going on in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and New York in general.

I also wanted to quickly introduce myself as well, as I’m the newest member of the BushwickBK team and I’m thrilled to be a part of this growing site. My name is Leo Maymind- I write about, listen to, record, eat, breathe, and sleep music. I’m a member of the Brooklyn band Spanish Prisoners, and I’m also a part of NYC music site Earfarm.com. I hope to expand on the sorts of things we write about regarding music and Bushwick.
