I love this little house, mostly because I have a thing for tall, narrow buildings. I should rephrase — it’s not little at around 2600 square feet, but it’s visibly narrower than the multifamilies around it. It seems to be a legal two-family, but according to the listing it has three apartments, including a duplex. It’s also a great location, what might be considered “Wyckoff Heights,” near food, conveniences, and all kinds of transportation. There are interior photos, and they show a well-kept home with only minimal aesthetic issues to remedy. And man is the price ever right — you could conceivably live for free in one of the smaller units after renting the others.

Dekalb stop!

I grew up on this street. Overall it’s safe and well lit. A Dekalb Ave. train station entrance is just one block over on Stanhope St. This probably goes without saying but there are delis everywhere, at just about every corner. Some other useful places: 2 chinese restaurants, dry cleaner, pharmacy, hospital (Wycoff Heights Medical Center). There is a liquor store across Wycoff Avenue, as well. All of these places are literally around the corner or across the street.
Beware of a few things on this block:
Firehouse: expect lights and sirens at all times of the day/night.
Parking: Nightmare!!! Firehouse takes up about half the block for their own personal parking and to give some room for their fire trucks to maneuver around each corner of the street. You also have to contend with hospital visitors and employees, if their parking lot is full.

You have to be kidding me!!!!!!! This house is horrible. You definitely have to redo a lot that has been done to it already. Keep it moving people. Keep it moving. NEXT HOUSE…
