Saturday night, once again, is art night!

English Kills hosts an opening reception for their new show: The Permanent Collection Volume One "comprised of 37 artists and features a new painting by Jim Herbert as well as an Eric Fischl/Judith Supine forced collaboration."

Storefront will be staying open late in conjunction with English Kills – stop in and see their inaugural show!

All the way on the other end of Greater Bushwick, Famous Accountants will be partying it up to celebrate the closing of their second show DRIPPY. It’s "trippy drippy" – GO SEE IT.

BFP East celebrates Capricorn Birthdays: "We will honor you this Saturday with cake and shots till midnight."

Sunday, there’s a new brunch in town. BFP East presents 10 Buck Brunch Saturdays & Sundays 11AM to 3:30pm: "7 delicious meal options that include a bloody mary or mimosa for only 10 bucks." Someone let us know how it is!

It’s the last day for Drippy at Famous Accountants and a little birdie told me that there will be a (very exciting) special event happening toward the end of the day.

Check out a new spot for bands in Ridgewood: The Hi 5 Bar, Ridgewood, 6059 Myrtle Ave, (corner of Myrtle and 60th Lane, entrance on 60th Lane). Tonight, catch Laura Stevenson and the Cans, Anisette (Rhode Island), Everything Sucks and Go Sell Drugs. $5 show at 6pm.

Numu Arts hosts a screen printing workshop (see their google calendar): Madeline Donahue and Josh Copp, local Bushwick printers, will teach you at-home screen printing basics.

Tuesday is once again Animal Night at BFP East: Come dressed as your favorite animal friend. Featuring Nick & Drew. (still not so sure what this is….)
