I know there aren’t many people looking right now as we gear up for the holidays, but certainly there are a few of you. And we have some great stuff to tell you about! All are from the Greater Bushwick Classifieds here on BushwickBK.

$1200 — 3br rr: I’ve actually been in this unit, so let me describe it myself: it’s huge. It has three rooms toward the street side of the light shaft, two small — used as a bedroom and a closet — and one large, which the current resident uses as his art studio. And what a light shaft — it’s nearly square, and every part of it is lined with giant windows, allowing light to pour into the center of the apartment, which in railroads is often dark and depressing. It’s so big the living room has two huge windows. The kitchen and bath are standard, in good shape, and the floors are laminate. From the 4th floor, you have a commanding view out the back of the M train, St. Barbara’s Church, and the rest of the neighborhood. It’s also near three subway stations on two lines and all the inexpensive food and shopping and coffee in the area, plus the wine shop. You have to see this place.

$1899 — 3br: Huge (1100sqft!), bright apartment full of many original details with three full bedrooms, large gorgeous eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer on-site, intercom security, and much more. Great location close to all the Jefferson stop’s amenities like Northeast Kingdom and the park, and only 1.5 blocks to the train.

$1700 — 1br: I’m impressed with this renovation — it might be too upscale, actually, for the area. That said, if you have the bucks, this loft-like apartment has wood floors, exposed brick, an amazing kitchen with quartz counters and a dishwasher, and holy of holies, a washer/dryer in the unit. Great location on a pretty street near recently-renovated Chimu Peruvian restaurant, Sol de Quito Ecuadoran, and more, and a short walk to the train.

$2600 — 4br: Pricey, but that’s the cost of living in prime Morgantown. Decent place with what seems to be at least one lofted bedroom and great views. In a roommate situation it comes out to $650 each, which doesn’t actually seem too bad to be right near everything and a mere short block to the subway.
