Bushwick Culture Weekly Picks 11/19/09

This weekend is kind of nuts. There are plenty of opportunities to go totally crazy before you clear out or hunker down for Thanksgiving (which, HOW is it time for that already?!). Go do one (or seven) of these things.
Tonight, over at The House of Yes, Glass Bandits present: In Memoriam (Thurs-Sun). "Told in 13 acts, Memoriam explores the story of a troupe of actors on the last leg of their vaudeville tour."
On Broadway: "After Pretty Lights rocks the Filmore, we’ll keep the party going at Beauty Bar Brooklyn with 3 INCREDIBLE DJs and awe-inspiring drink specials."
Friday, Airdrop presents a dance music event at Market Hotel with "4 internationally respected house DJs: Kasper, Fred P, Soul Clap and Crazy Larry."
Forrest is totally hopping this weekend, starting Friday night with a show at TLIOFHQ (The Library is on Fire Headquarters) featuring: DJ Tommy Moye (Rong/DFA), The Library is on Fire, Rok One (The Bangers), The Miami Ice Machine and Swift, Oneauff (Social Work), Sensual Harassment, White Diamonds (No Cover but Free booze with $5 donation).
Saturday, you will need to be properly caffeinated.
In the afternoon, go to this FREE swap: Score! at 3rd Ward, hosted by Bust, Flavorpill, Yelp, and MeanRed Productions. (And bring some awesome stuff for me!)
Marty Markowitz presents the annual smART bus tour of art in Brooklyn, featuring some of our nearest and dearest galleries and well as some in, ahem, other BK neighborhoods. Check out the full situation.
English Kills hosts a closing reception for double solo show: Carter Davis and Andrew Hurst. I think the deal is that they’ll be open 6-9 followed by a performance by Andrew Hurst.
Saturday night: So. Many. Shows. Omg.
Starr Space proudly presents an event organized by David Teller & Bird Dog Inc. featuring live sets by The Binary Marketing Show, Red Wire Black Wire, with Indoors/Outdoors DJing/performing between acts. A late night dance party hosted by (DJ) Matthew Radune will ensue after the live acts.
Lady Magma, Bad Credit/No Credit and Buffie Roseanne are playing at Goodbye Blue Monday!
Brittain Ashford plays the last show in town for a long ole while with Soltero at Petri Space.
Tandem is hosting another fab dance party: Bionic Boogie w/dj’s MIKIE LIXXX, NY, Tristes Tropiques, SF and Matt Cash (DFA records).
Market Hotel hosts Mister Saturday night with special guest The Revenge.
Sunday, Famous Accountants hosts a closing party for their inaugural show: Twenty-Three. Go check out the show (which is awesome) and have a beer and a cookie with the team.

The English Kills site states that the Closing Reception is November 22, ‘09.
That’s Sunday, not Saturday.
To add to the weekend events The Bushwick Starr is hosting DJ’s Matt Harrison, Greg Ferguson, Mike McGill(A Downtown Affair), and James Mulry(Black Label/Chicken Hut). FREE! with a FREE glass of champagne before 12! 207 Starr St. between Irving and Wyckoff.
