Bushwick Apartment Roundup 11/11/09

The intersection of Myrtle-Wyckoff is a whirlwind of commerce and a hub of transportation. Two subway lines bring you to Union Square in 18 minutes or the Lower East Side in 20 or so. You can buy almost anything you need, and many things you want here, and there’s tons to eat. And now there’s even an art gallery. Don’t be fooled by the tragic attempts to identify this with Williamsburg — this is so Bushwick it’s practically Ridgewood (and some people will still insist it is).
$900 — studio: Nice, large studio with wood floors, a bit of a view, amazing sunlight through two big windows, separate full kitchen and closet. And just feet from Taquería El Paisa!
CATS OK | Grove and Myrtle | street view
$1200 — 2br rr: Looking for “Funk”? This landlord has it. He also has a completely decent apartment for a low price — the photos are a little depressing but it’s good to check things out in person. Same location as above.
Grove and Myrtle | street view
$1024 — studio: Standard base-quality renovation, nothing much to say about it except it’s an okay place very close to the train. (Also 1br for $1122)
CATS OK | Linden and Myrtle | street view
$1750 — 3br: Renovation here is a bit over the top, but it’s nice and it comes with a free TV and you get two weeks’ rent off. Okay block near around the corner from Food Bazaar.
PETS OK | Putnam and Irving | street view
$1650 — 2br: Everything is new and standard in here for a renovated apartment in Bushwick, with dishwasher, glass tile backsplash, stainless steel, etc. Not much charm but it’s nice and if you just want clean and new, here’s your place.
PETS OK | Greene and Wyckoff | street view

The floors are always so shiny in these photos. Please find one in which they are not! Publish that.
LOL.
So this is how all the yuppies steal our housing send us to Florida and New jersey. This newspaper should be called gentrify bushwick cause that’s all ure doing. Help our neighborhood not by bringing yuppies into live and try to get that old newyork life style from the movies from the 70s and 80s. Help us by helping the kids in the neighborhood and the people not send us away and making things worse.
I agree Angry. Me rehuso.
Angry, do you know what “property” is? Look it up, because that will clear up the problem of your gross misuse of the word “steal.”
