this man was the love of my life, and always will be. he was the most amazing human being that ive ever known and also for the rest of the people who knew him. this accident does not match up to the smart man that i knew and loved. it seemed to me that he was being provoked and chased. not a second goes by that i dont try to figure out how i am going to go on without my soul mate. i can not stop thinking about arriving to the next lifetime so that i can spend it with him. so please stop all of your nonsense of being heartless. how dare any of you judge someone you dont even know. there is something extremely wrong with the story that has been given out on this blog. there is a missing piece that no one is speaking up about.if anyone saw what happened please speak out! please.we need answers. my good pal died and its just an ethics debate for self righteous people. And this article is all wrong. remember that death comes to us all in one form or another. to all of you saw this as an opportunity to stimulate your mind on the internet, know that he has many people that were upset about his passing. People like you are fake and soul less. but the man who was in that car wasnt. where we came from you had to own up to what you said and not just spew it on the internet. to all of your who are judging his death, without even knowing about his life, one day your time too will come. and there will be people right there to judge you.

@kyzer sosa, heartbroken and sympathetic– the backstory behind this tragedy is less than clear and frankly may never be fully understood. only the deceased driver knows what compelled him to barrel so recklessly down a residential street at 7:30am, and that tale is being taken with him to the grave. it was a decision that was made and that choice ended the driver’s life. it IS sad for the family, having to deal with the loss and consequences of this young man’s actions. thankfully no innocent pedestrians were physically harmed or maimed in this selfish process.

there is no question that from sun-up to sun-down other drivers make similar juvenile decisions to speed down residential streets for no good reason other than for a thrill and/or to stroke some holier-than-thou machismo, particularly in this neighborhood.

it is clear that this incident has deeply affected members of this community and it should serve as a call-to-action for us to make some good of this loss by rallying for more stop signs, speed bumps, traffic lights, etc. i’d even stand up for tougher licensing criteria— given the current levels of auto-related death and injury, roadway saturation and environmental cost, operating 4,000 lbs of glass and steel (that’s 2 tons!) here in NYC is an earned privilege that should, at this point, ONLY be granted to those who can demonstrate responsible behavior and an absolute need. There are waay too many cars/trucks on Bushwick’s streets for no good reason at all, vehicles should NOT by used as fashion accessories, or status symbols. wake up!

Doesn’t anyone know what truly happened?
He served with me in the Army and he was a great guy.
There are a lot stories going around that he was being chased. Based on the picture on this article it looks like the car was hit in the back. Does any one know if there any cameras on that street that might have caught the accident. If so you can email me at kyzersosa@gmail.com

The truth is at 20 years old, we all make mistakes, nobody is perfect…the saddest part is that he did not live to learn from his mistakes…He is still someones son, someones brother, and someones soul mate, so please dont forget the mistakes you made as a CHILD, because thats exactly what he was….Let his family mourn, without bashing him with your fancy paragraphs, that I must say, you put alot of effort into someone you dont even know….He passed, what more of a punishment can you ask for?? RIP baby boy….

None of us know? He was going so fast down a street full of houses and children at a time when people are just leaving for work and school that he totaled his car, smashed several other cars, and ultimately lost his own life, and we’re wrong to speculate that he was a jerk? His death doesn’t erase his deed, which I’m sure was par for the course in his short and reckless life — especially since it was a result of it. I don’t think Chillin should have to apologize, especially since he thought the guy lived. In life, you often reap what you sow. Bushwickers are so used to blaming everyone in the world but themselves for their problems, I guess the same is true in death.
