Hi team! It’s chilly & people are getting change-of-season colds, so remember to make time for tea, a toddy and taking it easy. It’s a relatively quiet week around here but don’t get too comfy. There’s still a ton to do and next weekend is really going to be a serious one.
Tonight, get cozy in the Kingdom Den with Brittain Ashford, Parson Redheads and Sam Watts. Lovely.
Friday, hit up some local burlesque action at Gotham City Lounge. "Fem Appeal, Bella Fighetta, Miss Kissy Wishes and Weirdee Girl twirl,
shimmy and shake making Bushwick a better place to be." Ladies get in free (guys: $5) and $3 PBR and well shot special.

Market Hotel and Silent Barn both deliver.
Brave Bushwick-based bands are venturing out of the confines of our hood to play this weekend. Pass Kontrol plays the Charleston Friday and Jimmy and the Wolfpack play Hank’s Saloon Saturday night.
Saturday, "Brooklyn Artillery dons its most impractical stillettos as fashionistas and designers from all over Brooklyn take over Artillery’s two floor art fair with sumptuous adventures in apparel and jewelery" at Castle Braid. Check out the full schedule — lots of emerging designers, catwalks, flipbooks, and yoga followed by mimosas (!) and an after party at Tandem.
