This week we’re featuring apartments near the Jefferson L stop. All of Bushwick’s newest hotness is centered between the two entrances of this station, as well as it’s old standards. Restaurants, bars, markets, galleries, and our leafy María Hernández Park will be joined soon by even more cool stuff. If you can swing it, this is the place to be.
And make sure to check out our classifieds — new stuff is posted every day.
$1150 — 1br: Awesomely cheap for this location, and is probably a bit small for it, but it has good bones. You could work with this.
PETS OK | Irving and Jefferson | street view
$1200 — 2br rr: Just one photo isn’t enough to tell much about the place, but it’s huge at 900sqft, the location is perfectly convenient to everything, the apartment apparently overlooks María Hernández Park, and is pretty cheap (probably stabilized).
PETS OK | Starr and Irving | street view
$1650 — 2br: Huge and bright, exposed brick, kitchen not bad, as always, get that damn wood trim painted white, it is NOT classy. Private back yard is awesome and the location is excellent.
Suydam and Wyckoff | street view
$1600 — 2br: I’m a sucker for original details, so I’m into the bordered wood floor in the living room, but for those who don’t care: this apartment has two full bedrooms, is in good shape, and very close to the train. And the agent assures us it’s “HUGE.”
Jefferson St. and Irving | street view
$1645 — 2br: The streets start getting a bit leafy up here, but you’re still right near the train and commerce. Amazing, green shaded back yard — bad for sunning, I suppose, but a calming retreat. Inside it’s your standard redo, nothing spectacular but well-done.
