The street is basically at the end of the world over by the Cemetery of the Evergreens, but it is a pretty block. It seems that back when they were building those Kreischer-brick bow- and bay-front townhouses in the 1910s, they left a gap here on Moffat Street, where in the late 20s or early 30s they put up this short row of semi-detached red-brick charmers, which like their older neighbors retain all their exterior charm. The block is tree-lined, well-maintained, and one block from the L. This is a short sale, but I understand they are getting easier to do as banks are getting used to the process. No word on the condition of the interior but for this price, you’d stillc ome out on top even if you had to fix a kitchen or hang a piece of drywall. There’s also a detached two-car garage that must be down the tight alley between the houses.
