Birdie is disgusting, Nast is an employee of the Reyna campaign who focus’s on cheapshoting ”Our” ”Real”Maritza Davila. That women earned her canidacy for city council, unlike alot of these councilmen and women. Anyone who doesn’t support Maritza is obviously not from anywhere near the 34th district. I heard she lives in the heart of her community, While Council women Reyna dwells in the backwoods of Conneticuit. If the bloggers are cheap shotting anyone during this race, It should be the Communist Incumbent they call councilwomen Reyna !

Holy smokes, good observation PA. As far as I am concerned, Davila is a step above a thug.

I heard through good sources that she and one of her adult sons have been intimidating businesses on Wyckoff Ave that have Reyna signs up on their storefronts. Davila and her crew (aka – The Rogues) apparently threatened to call city inspectors regarding violations if they did not take down the Reyna signs. One of the businesses refused to do so and guess what? City inspectors showed up the next day and gave the owner summonses. The owner still has not taken down the Reyna sign. What is most foul is that the majority of the business owners are latino and Davila touts her connections to those businesses in her campaign.

Davila is a phony and has no class. I guess she never got over Reyna firing her adult daughter from her district office for being such a flake. What is next for Davila when this is all over? HOPE GARDENS SENIOR CENTER! That is all…….

As far as I know, it was Make the Road that agitated to get all those alleged back wages paid. I don’t see how you can make like Davila was responsible.

The fact that she thinks Bushwick should continue to have less commerce than Williamsburg is a serious flaw. We’re a very dense neighborhood, as she knows. More businesses mean more activity (for safety) and more jobs for her neighbors and if she wins, constituents. Bars are not bad — if they are made to behave, they are a boon to street safety at night.

But really, for me it’s about Vito Lopez. I might consider her on her own merits — none of these candidates seem all that different to me, really — but as part of the machine, forget it. Diana is the Devil I Know, and I’m going with her.
