This week, the length of Troutman Street is our focus. It seems to have spontaneously become the spine of our community — following in its (not completely) former life as a drug market. With Jefferson and Starr Streets, it is the linear heart of development and business in this town, and today we’re celebrating it by listing cheap-ass apartments, most of which will be on the lower end in the Myrtle-Broadway orbit. That used to suck, but now it’s just getting great. Around the Central Avenue area, you’re in the geographical center of North Bushwick, and every subway is equidistant.
$1650 — loft: This loft is HUGE and pretty awesome: the floors look original, the windows are giant, and the kitchen and bath are decent. Not sure if it’s right near Wyckoff or it’s a block or so away — still a good deal and space.

$1075 — 1br: Great price for a basic, decent, large apartment. Not much to say, everything looks to be in order.

$1250 — 2br rr: Looks nice and large, decent facilities, wood floors, typical okay railroad and the price is great.

$1400 — 2br: Blindingly white, this place, but it’s nice enough and in a good location.

$1400 — 2br: Great price for the location, though the interior is a bit overdone and yet still dull, it does seem to have great light in the bedroom and you share the block with awesome local bar Tandem.

$900 — studio: I rarely list places with no photos, but it’s $900, I can’t let you not know about it. The location is blah for now, but once all the construction nearby is finished you’ll have a lot of new neighbors and stuff to eat. And cheap rent!
