On Tuesday night, the Xylopholks held a benefit show at the House of Yes. For those who may not have witnessed their fantastic performances on the NYC subway platforms, they are a group of musicians who play 1920’s ragtime tunes while dressed in furry animal garb (think cookie monster, pink gorilla, skunk, baboon, & dog). Their main goal is to “make people happy”; with that in mind, next month they’re taking their music across the world to bring smiles to the people of India.
