Almost any location right off Bushwick Avenue will guarantee some great local architecture and a spot in or very near a likely future historic district. This may psychologically make up for the immediate area having absolutely nothing fun to do or good to eat. However, the train is maybe a 3-minute walk, and the block itself, while not at all historic-looking, is quite well-kept and tree-lined as Bushwick goes. The house is also in great shape, having been mostly renovated, and it does seem that at least one room has its full original moldings and such intact.
