The Broadway Triangle, the 31-acre brownfield site on the edge of Bushwick, will one day be remediated and constructed into affordable housing properties. The latest episode in this minor saga took place at a Community Board One meeting, where a spontaneous demonstration disrupted a City Housing Department’s rezoning presentation. The Greenpoint Gazette‘s Juliet Linderman recounts what went down.
