Good Work! NYT Digs Up Months-Old Story
Did you know our State Assemblyman and Brooklyn Democratic Boss Vito Lopez may have cut a deal with the Catholic Church to gut a clergy sex-abuse bill in exchange for their assent to his control over a massive public housing project? You did? Yes, that’s because you read it in these pages two months ago. Good lookin’ out, NYT. Oh and I’m also giving them an award for most historically outrageous understatement:
“Religious leaders have been part of civic dialogue at least since Moses.”
Part of civic dialogue, you say? Does that include that several-thousand-year period where the church WAS the state throughout most of the world? Or… not? Just asking.

Maybe they meant Robert Moses.
Congratulations Aaron for such a timely report. There really wasn’t anything in the NYT article that added anything to Aaron’s piece.
Keep up the good work!
