Japanese cuisine is rolling into Bushwick. — Photo by Diego Cupolo
Yes, it’s confirmed: raw fish and rolled seaweed delicacies will soon be available in Bushwick. A Japanese restaurant is rapidly materializing at 1077 Flushing Avenue (near Knickerbocker Ave.) and construction workers on the site said they plan on opening their doors in about two weeks.
Though I could not get the restaurant’s name, a reader posted some details on the forum saying we can expect reasonable prices and garden seating in the back. More information as it comes.

Nice. Should be a nice canary in the coal mine. If this place does well, there’s no reason why the Loom’s retail spaces shouldn’t fill up quickly.

Great. Now, if only they would call it “Sushing Avenue.”
