Yeah, I have been telling them to stop using my name for months, and was unaware they had opened another place at 20 Meadow St. and named it Shea Stadium when I posted my last message.

I'm going to have to get legal about this, now.

I had been asking nicely for about a month, getting firmer about what I was asking for another month after that, and finally I called and said this was the last straw. I feel fortunate to not be involved with the greedy, idea-snatching, back stabbing scoundrels that run this new 'Shea Stadium,' anyhow.

I wouldn't recommend doing any kind of business with anyone involved with Shea Stadium. They may seem nice, but they're out for no one else but themselves, throwing close friends out on the street for the undeserved credit/respect and the mighty dollar.

Hey Pat, you made something great. My band and I have played at Shea twice- once at both locations- and I'll tell you personally that I appreciate your hard work, and the very successful consummation of your great ideas. If you're bitter about the way others are acting, then tell them.

Hey guys. I wrote this article, and at the time of writing, the address was 85A Debevoise. Shea Stadium has since moved to 20 Meadow Street. I apologize for any confusion.

Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback on the name.

For those who are uninformed:

My name is Pat Shea. I came up with the name Shea Stadium, with blood and sweat, built much of the place out with help from good friends and lived there making sure the place was running smoothly for the first couple of months. Unfortunately, the other guys involved and I had differences and I left, but I wanted everyone to know that they are taking credit for my genius name and giving me no credibility whatsoever.

Doesn't it make more sense to have Pat Shea living and working at Shea Stadium? Yeah. I know. I like how I'm mentioned absolutely NOWHERE at all. That place wouldn't have opened it's doors if it wasn't for me and my good friends building tirelessly for nothing. No one else involved had the time to put into it like I did.

I was sort of sad to hear it closed down, I just hope they don't keep using the name I came up with and taking credit for the genius that I witnessed it was.

Why does your article give the address as 85A Debevoise Ave but the Shea website says 20 Meadow St.?

I love that your calling it "Shea Stadium".
It sounds like success to me. Way to go!
