Neighborhood resident Andres Jauregui says this swarm of officers broke up a house party at Cook and Evergreen around 2am on Saturday. He says there were at least twice as many cops on the scene as in the photo above. Seems rather excessive. See more photos of fat cops roughing up skinny girls>>

good thing i left out the backdoor, and moved the party to troutman street.
these cops though went WAY overboard. these pictures really don’t do justice to their true brutality and the horrible job they did at handling the crowd.
good job NYPD you officially fucked up.

A couple of people told me that I should drop you this link to a slightly more comprehensive article about this party.

Too bad they don’t focus on the wave of burglaries in the neighborhood since they obviously have the people to do so….

So what happens when cops behave like gangsters? Is there any fallout? Angry letters and badge numbers get taken, and they say – “we were making public drunkenness collars” – but nothing happens?
These guys are running 60-deep for a noise violation and some drunk yupsters. I saw an 18-year old kid with a bullet hole in his brain and that many showed up. They never arrested anyone.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. NYC cops are pussies and chumps.

Looks like this Voice post is about the same party, which sheds a little more light on the situation, especially the connection to the “New School in Exile” stuff:
