Manhattan-based political paper City Hall News sent Dan Rivoli out to Bushwick to find out why incumbent Councilwoman Diana Reyna and Assemblyman Vito Lopez are feuding and size up a competitive race for her seat. Lopez is backing Maritza Dávila, a community organizer with Ridgewood-Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, while another opponent, Gerry Esposito of CB1, has close to $80,000. Reyna has yet to hire a campaign manager.
