Marionettes of Satan blast away the possibility of conversation. Click to launch the slideshow.

Thoroughly cluttered, but always enchanting, Goodbye Blue Monday has long been the neighborhood destination for cheap beers, free live music, and sporadic, inspirational discourse. While each night has the potential to showcase the most magnificent up-and-coming bands in the city, a particularly good line-up of Bushwick’s biggest bands hit the stage on Saturday — leaving me no choice but to bring my camera and try to capture the magnetic evening.

Though I missed the Phfat Raskals, I caught the rest of the night’s action, which featured Ava Luna, Pass Kontrol, The New York Howl and the Marionettes of Satan.
