Bushwick’s Ruby Streak Trapeze Studio stars a central role in a piece by Marie Carter of The Brooklyn Rail, who seems optimistic about the future of NYC’s creative community. Ruby Streak’s Natalie Agee moved to Bushwick in 2002, when the Jefferson L station attendant told her not to exit on Starr because of the blind corner. Fast-forward several years and Agee is giving performances and even trapeze classes in the neighborhood, but the studio is technically homeless and is looking for a new space.
