Nasty. Bushwick doesn’t just have the most 311 calls for graffiti, but we top the list for bedbugs complaints as well. As with graffiti, this doesn’t necessarily mean we have the most bedbugs, just that we have the most people willing to call about them. But don’t be complacent — do NOT pick up curbside furniture unless you want to seal it in a plastic bag for a month. Even then, the risk may be too great. Experts recommend that if you are affected, tell your neighbors and have the entire building treated — otherwise, like roaches, they will just move around the building.

a month? i caught one and left it sealed in a container for four months before it died. i’ve also read that a colony can survive sealed inside wrapped furniture for more than a year.

Bushwick tops the list?
I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

LMAO! Bushwick is always #1 for things of this nature. We had the most rats in the city around 2000/2001

If they finally made RAMBO an official neighborhood, it would win the bedbug competition. Find some quasi hipsters and take a walk down Duffield st and try not to catch anything.
