The Brooklyn Paper reports on a troupe of Bushwick residents who ride around on vintage mopeds and call their “gang” Mission 23. Most of them got into mopeds to have transportation without the need for a special license or insurance, and probably formed the group in order to share maintenance knowledge and tools for the breakdown-prone contraptions.
